Thank God Almighty, for letting us Finish the ‘Choices CD Project’ it’s been a long time coming; Sense we started the project, the 7~ Song Contemporary Gospel CD Project entitled ‘CHOICES’ is due to be released June 13th and available online at most retailers, Itunes, Napster, Amazonmusic.com, and CD Baby. As well as our WebSite at www.WorkingEndlessly4Christ.com I really enjoyed writing the songs for the CD Project, it was LIFES LESSONS LEARNED HARD AND FAST, FAST AND HARD! I just thank God I made it out with my life, And I do mean literally I think I was into just about a little bit of everything, that had to do with a drug, and I think it was due to going through the trials, and tribulations this life can sometimes put one through! I do truly thank God for my Loving Wife, with out her I would surely be DEAD. And that’s no lie, she is one of the most hardest praying, staying on the alter strong black women who continued her quest to have a saved, saintafied; And filled with God’s precious spirit of the Holy Ghost, which to me seemed like an eternity but to God it was just a little while, you see it all began back in the early 80’s when my oldest brother ‘Eric’ was murdered in cold blood, Down on Jackson St, By our first cousin, all behind some crack headed broad. I just never really understood how you could sleep at night knowing you killed your own blood, you got me; any hew my mother took this very personal, see she was the ‘Black sheep’ of the family any way, and made that perfectly known. To all those who act like they didn’t know! well now you know, and I’m going to make some body really mad when I say this, she wasn’t lying either, She really was the ‘Black Sheep’ of the family, my Grandmother had 2 daughters fair skinned one and a dark and lovely one which one you think was my momma? if you said the ‘Dark Skinned one ‘BINGO’! but check it, she was fine though don’t get it twisted, and built like a coke bottle. My Autie was a looker too now don’t play, they both were attractive girls, so any way back to how the ‘CD Project Choices’ came about; let’s speed it up a bit, so ‘Eric’ was killed in April of 1985, 7 Years later my Great Grand Mother would pass away 13 years after that, my mother would pass way from lung carcinoma, 6 months after she passed away my auntie her only sister would pass away from grievance, and congestive heart failure! 11 months after my auntie passed away my youngest brother was shoot and killed at close range with a sawed off 22 riffle, Over a basketball game; 1 year after that, my mother;s mother passed away from congestive heart failure, well I had enough with death already i went on a crack binge so cold, my right lung collapsed on me in March of 2006, that Praying Wife of mine I know shse had something to do with it, She told God to Slow me down, and in the event he decided to take my life; To please give her the strength to carry on! So you see my life hasn’t quite been the old happy story book ending, until My God told me to put it all on paper, then on WAX.
